Course Description: In this dynamic workshop, Dr. Hobbs will take participants deep into the periodontal field. The curriculum encompasses the latest American Academy of Periodontology classification system, equipping attendees with the knowledge to accurately diagnose and categorize periodontal diseases. Emphasis will be placed on efficient communication strategies, empowering clinicians to seamlessly learn when to refer patients or facilitate optimal treatment pathways for improved patient outcomes. Hands-on sessions will provide invaluable practical experience in key procedures, including bone grafting, flap design, and suturing techniques. Participants will gain proficiency through guided practice, honing their skills under expert supervision. Furthermore, the workshop will offer invaluable insights into implant dentistry, with a focus on practical "pearls" for successful implant placement. Through hands-on training on models, participants will learn essential techniques and best practices, while also exploring strategies for managing unforeseen complications.
